Documentation of Traditional Montagnard Weavers
Folklife Grant Award for 2010-2011. This award, granted to me from the North Carolina Arts Council, allowed me to document traditional Montagnard weavers in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. This project focused primarily on the traditional techniques the weavers use to warp, weave and sew their fabric into clothing or blankets. Documentation will continue to be available through this site.
